Davis, 55, of Chicago, benefited from a treatment known as coiling after she suffered a brain aneurysm in November.
Once Davis arrived at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Dr. William W. Ashley Jr. determined that he needed to stop the bleeding in her brain caused by the aneurysm, which is a ballooning of blood vessels, as quickly as possible." (Link no longer available.)
